Eternal is that which exists outside time with no beginning or end. Odyssey is a long wandering voyage with many twists and turns. Adair says that his pathway through the art world has taken him on a similar journey.

Lyle Adair’s copper odyssey began in 1998 when he started working at an art gallery in South Austin, Texas. He apprenticed there with an internationally recognized artist. He was taught the tools of the trade, using hammers, chisels, and an oxygen acetylene torch to burn, anneal, bend, fuse, and shape copper. His eyes were opened to the vast opportunities copper has to offer. Adair is an award-winning sculptor and has exhibited both nationally and internationally.
