More About the Artists
Stephen Pruitt
Pruitt has been working in the arts as a photographer, designer, writer, director and performer for over thirty years. Best known in Austin as a scenic and lighting designer, he started out doing photography as a hobby in high school, but eventually transitioned to being a full-time artist after a small dance company approached him about doing their performance lighting after seeing his photographs.
Rama Tiru
Tiru reflects that her image collection evolves from her dreams, memories, and collective experiences from the past, “Beyond” the experiences of today. She starts with a blank canvas and without a plan, she creates an organic image. When she is satisfied with one of the iterations of the image, she completes the image. Adding Augmented Reality provides a technological sparkle.
Helen Buck
Buck's work is executed in several different genres, landscape, figurative, still life, botanical, animals, and in a variety of mediums. Throughout her career, she has followed her instincts and alternated between innocent, happy, colorful imagery, and dark, disturbing painterly descriptions of those subjects she experienced or even witnessed.
