ROHIT RECORDS

November 30-January 6, 2019

(Closed December 24 - December 30)

Opening reception for ROHIT RECORDS will be at Link & Pin on December 6th from 6-9pm and will feature live music (from real bands).

The closing reception and record release party for a band that doesn’t exist will be held Thursday, January 3 from 6-9, with live music (from real bands).

Link & Pin presents ROHIT RECORDS, a record store for bands that don’t exist. Come experience an art show that mimics a record store in every way – filled with album covers, concert posters and T-shirts – but everything is created by artist, Rohitash Rao.

Each album is hand-made and one-of-a-kind; featuring bands you’ve never heard of - like Wolfdick, Fish N Chips and The Sackstreet Boys.

Artist Rao explains that ROHIT RECORDS is a tribute to all the record stores he loved growing up and is a place for all his mediums in one place: photography, design, painting, film and comedy (Yes, it's supposed to be funny.)
