More About the Artists

Christopher

Van Loan

Van Loan employs an innovative technique that blends traditional artistry with unexpected elements. Using unconventional tools like putty and drywall finishing knives, he applies foundational colors and textures onto the canvas, creating a rich and tactile foundation. Building upon this textured backdrop, Chris masterfully incorporates layers of vibrant spray paint, employing meticulous hard-edge tape techniques and custom stencils to achieve striking compositions. Suzanne Courtney

Courtney hails from Michigan. She is a retired elementary classroom/art teacher, mother, grandmother, artist, Reiki Master, Grief Coach, and author. She has published seven books and has illustrated four of them. She loves mixed media and constantly creates unusual pieces. Suzanne Courtney.

Murdock

Murdock has found a way to convey the complex undertones of life in her pieces through a genuine love for the expression of abstract art.  Her works capture real life moments through the interaction of line, color and movement on canvas while allowing the audience to freely interpret and enjoy the oneness with the piece.
